Winchester 1892 deluxe takedown manufactured in 1893. Features include octagonal barrel with factory adjustable front and rear sights. Full length tubular magazine with takedown lever. Takedown lever action. Highly figured walnut stocks with metal forend cap and rifle buttplate. Front stock has a wrap around checkered panel. Rear stock has two checkered panels on the pistol grip. Stocks show use with usual minor dings and light scratches. Metal has turned to an even soft brown, homogenous patina. CORRECTION: Factory research confirms all of the above. Shipped November 10th, 1894.
