Manufactured in 1897. This is a third model 1873 Winchester in 22 short. Features include; Octagonal barrel with full length tubular magazine. Factory front and rear adjustable sights. Blued lever action with original dust cover. Case color lever and hammer. Front and rear walnut stocks with metal crescent butt plate and for-end cap. Gun retains approximately 50% of the original factory applied blue with the remainder turning to a pleasing brown patina. Hammer and lever show a brown patina. Wood is proud to metal with just a few handling and storage marks. Bore showing lands and grooves.
