The browned two stage barrels of pistols are marked "Washington & Lee University" on one side and "Lee Chapel Collection" on the other. These pistols are very high quality reproductions and are high quality with detailed engraving. They feature flintlock mechanisms marked "BARKER" on lockplates and engraved silver mounted furniture. Plain varnished walnut full-length stocks with relief-carved shell designs behind both barrel tangs. Complete with wooden case with presentation panel of leather on lid, which reads "THE FLINTLOCK PISTOLS OF/GEORGE WASHINGTON/AND/ROBERT E. LEE." Green-velour-lined partitioned interior with both flints and 5 lead balls included, along with case key and a velour soft case for each pistol. Excellent condition with a few light storage marks, some water spotting on lid and leather panel.
