Rifle features full round barrel, German nickel pinned front sight, standard semi-buckhorn rear sight, blued finish, case colored hammer and rifle buttplate, walnut forend with Schnabel tip and ebony insert, and plain pistol grip walnut stock with Winchester grip cap. CONDITION: The serial number on this gun is registered as a full Turnbull expert restoration to near new condition. There is a couple of minor wear spots on box magazine and a few minor storage marks. Brilliant case colors on buttplate. Hammer colors have slightly dulled. Operates like new. Sharp lands and grooves show some minor residue. Doug Turnbull's restoration work is world renowned, with his attention to detail replicating as close to possible the original Winchester finishes and this rifle looks as if it has just come from a hardware store and been used only a couple of times. A beautiful, scarce, antique Model 1895 Winchester with rarely seen pistol grip stock.
