This is a single shot pistol, top break, made on revolver frame with no recoil shields. It is a Second Model with Paine target front sight, target adjustable rear sight, case colored hammer and trigger, and checkered walnut grips. Approximately 4,615 were made between 1905 and 1909. Has the diamond checkered walnut extension type grips with no medallion. Barrel has wear on sides; overall about 70% remains. 90% blue remains on frame. Left side of barrel near breech has storage marks and a bit of salt and pepper surface. Grips are fine. Strong rifled bore with some frosting. Fine action.
