This beautifully engraved Colt House Pistol has almost full coverage engraving with scrolls, star bursts and key pattern covering nearly every surface. Barrel retains nearly all original nickle, brass frame retains considerable period silver and cylinder has turned to brown patina. Serial number 2361 is fitted with period ivory grips displaying mellow golden patina with a few finer age checks. Action is crisp and bore is good with some roughness. Revolver is cased in an original case with bright red lining. Includes full picture box of .41 cartridges, key, and tool. Exterior of box has most of varnish and hinges are perfect. An extremely elaborate example of this rare Colt revolver.
