Gun started life as a standard 7-1/2" .44-40 Single Action Army and now sports a stretched 8-1/8" barrel numbered to gun. Cylinder has no visible number. Matching numbers on frame, trigger guard and backstrap. CONDITION: Gun has been completely refinished in nickel plate, including hammer, with numerous small pits under finish. Grips have been refinished and are slightly shy to metal. Reproduction donut head ejector. Comes with a nickel plated reproduction should stock. Tight action and very good bore; cannot open loading gate. Very early serial number custom nickel Colt Buntline.
