In 1970, Colt produced a limited edition of 500 Wyatt Earp (Buntline) revolvers with nickel plated detachable shoulder stocks. They came with traditional blued and case colored frame, fluted cylinders and smooth walnut grips. Frames were Flat Top Target variety with adjustable target rear sight. Left side of barrel is stamped "COLT SINGLE ACTION ARMY 45". Right side is stamped "LAWMAN SERIES WYATT EARP". Right side of frame has two line Colt patent date. Hammer, trigger, cylinder pin and cylinder release are nickel plated to match stock. CONDITION: Gun is near new, having never been fired with a couple of very minor storage marks. Comes in the original black display case and shipping crate.
