This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 11/1/2018
Standard configuration. The only visible marking on the barrel, which appears to be blued is a P on the right side where the op-rod cutout is. We have not taken the hand guard off. Drawing numbers appear to be a mixture of WWII dates, all Springfield parts. Receiver was made in September of 1938. Two groove gas plug. Lock bar rear sight. Stock is unmarked with glass bedding for the trigger housing assembly. Cleaning kit and rods in trap in butt. CONDITION: Retains 90% finish overall. All markings are clear. Fine mechanical function. Stocks appear to be lightly refinished. Rear hand guard most likely of newer manufacture. Bore is fine with sharp rifling.
