Factory letter states this Third Model short rifle No. 147617 was shipped February 14th, 1884 in .32 caliber with 20" round barrel. Features full magazine, sporting front sight, rare Winchester sporting rear sight, checkered sides, walnut stocks and rifle butt. CONDITION: Barrel retains 75% mix of blue and brown patina with some age freckling and light storage marks. Tube is brown with a small dent on left side. Forend cap has a sling swivel hole. Frame is a rich blue-brown patina with flashes of original blue. Walnut stocks are proud to metal and very good to excellent condition. Fine action. Strong rifled bore.
