Features full octagon barrel, 2/3 tube magazine, takedown, 1902 patent front sight, 1901 patent rear sight, blued finish, case colored frame, hammer, trigger guard and buttplate; walnut stock and 12 groove round walnut forend. CONDITION: The barrel exhibits razor sharp edges and legends, retaining 90% original factory blue with usual minor scattered age spotting. Tube is a blue-silver blend. Frame retains at least 85% original case colors, some still brilliant. Stocks are excellent and proud to metal. A couple of the screws show some very minor distortion. Fine action. Bore exhibits defined lands and grooves, but not bright. A very fine example of a scarce case colored Model 1890.
