Gun (A) is a fine condition Marlin Model 1893 lever action rifle featuring blued full octagon barrel and takedown tube, sporting sights, case colored frame, hammer and lever; walnut stocks and S curve buttplate. No bullseye. CONDITION: Barrel retains approximately 85-90% original blue with razor sharp edges and legends. Tube appears to have 90% original blue but is thinning with patina showing through. 30% case colors on frame, balance gun metal grey. Traces of color on lever and hammer. Stocks are excellent, proud to metal. Fine action. Rifling is well defined but grooves are frosted. Far above average Model 1893. Gun (B) is a Marlin Model 1894. CONDITION: Barrel and tube are basically brown patina. Frame has been polished in the white. Stocks are shy to metal, having been refinished. Missing tang sight screws. Fine action. Well defined rifling but frosted.
