Features half octagon barrel, half magazine, takedown, later replacement front sight, standard Winchester rear sight, Marble tang sight, blued finish, walnut stocks and rifle butt. CONDITION: Barrel retains approximately 75% of the reapplied blued finish starting to thin. Sharp edges and legends. Frame retains approximately 40% blue starting to dull, thinning to brown-grey patina with some light cleaning marks. Wood is very good to excellent and proud to metal. Well defined rifled bore and fine action. Handsome rifle as is, great basis for restoration.
