Unmarked two stage smoothbore steel barrel. Flat lockplate and engraved brass French style furniture. Relief silver wrist escutcheon. Full length figured maple stock of classic New England form showing French influence. Relief carved Acanthus leaf behind barrel tang and relief panels around lock and sideplate. Complete with steel tipped wooden ramrod. Excellent condition; showing little or no use. Barrel and lock have an aged finish. Brass retains a mellow patina. Oil finished stock is excellent. This has an authentic look and would be a great reenactors gun or hunting fowler for muzzleloader hunters.
