This gun is the entry level Darne and the plainest model the company made. It has 26-7/8" plain steel barrels with a matted rib and small brass front bead. The receiver is line engraved only. Two piece stocks are very plain and uncheckered. Trigger plate assembly is somewhat crudely inletted in to the stock which is what is seen on these entry level guns. Lined buttplate shows worming and is undersized. CONDITION: Good. Barrels with a few light dents and retain about 75% blued finish. Action is grey and shows beginning toning and pin prick erosion are apparent on sides. Stock with some filler near trigger plate is otherwise mostly sound with scattered handling marks and scratches. Bores with scattered pitting. Mechanics are functional.
