Halifax Model Sliding breech action No. 3 Grade. Barrels fitted with narrow matted game rib and slightly mashed brass front bead. Sliding breech is very lightly engraved and opener marked "Halifax". Stocks are lightly checkered in two point pattern and fitted with sling swivels. Lined horn buttplate with engraved screws. Double triggers, extractors, non-auto safety. CONDITION: Fair to good. Barrels retain about half of their blue with some minor spotting and beginning roughness. Stock appears to have been made as a two piece stock and is in fair condition. 1" x 3/4" chip behind top tang that has been replaced. Checkering is mostly worn smooth. Bores are poor. Mechanics are fair.
