A nice example of the Dewey upright slot machine manufactured by Mills Novelty Co. in the early 1900s, complete with a Swiss musical. The wood housing is decorated with intricate wood carvings and ornate castings with minor surface wear throughout. With brass 6-way coin head/marquee, lever, payout cup and musical cabinet frame, while the rest of the castings including the legs and flag window are iron. Includes brilliant center and colorful tin litho gaming wheel, slightly soiled. In operational condition, the machine plays, pays, and the music works and sounds great. Five keys included.
