This rifle is all standard with the exception of the Lyman 21 rear sight and original Winchester sling swivels at eyes. Features German nickel front sight blade, blued finish, case colored hammer, smooth steel buttplate, walnut stocks. Rear sight blade has filler. CONDITION: Barrel retains approximately 95% original blue. Frame magazine and lever retains approximately 85% or better original blue on left side; a bit more brown toning on right side but still 75%. Steel buttplate is a smooth blue-brown patina. Screw heads are fairly square. Wood is excellent to near mint, proud to metal with just a couple of minor bumps. Strong, well defined rifling, grooves slightly frosted. This is a well cared for, early Model 1895.
