In 2015, Ruger debuted a bolt action rifle installed in a chassis at the factory that took the long range shooting world by storm. Chassis rifles are normally out of the price range for most shooters but Ruger produce not only an affordable chassis rifle but one of the best. This is a standard second generation Ruger Precision Rifle featuring a 20" 5.56 NATO Target chamber with a medium contour profile and a 1:7 twist, an integrated 20 MOA picatinny rail, an adjustable trigger, and a side folding stock. Additionally, this particular rifle has a Nightforce 12-42x56 second focal plane scope with the CH-3 Illuminated Reticle. Comes with one Ruger .223 magazine. The factory installed compensator is not present. CONDITION: This rifle is in excellent condition. The scope appears virtually untouched and only light handling marks can be seen on the scope rings. The stock, hand guard, receiver, and upper all are in fantastic condition and are like new with light handling marks. Bore is bright and shiny and the rifling is razor sharp. Scope turrets have positive clicks and move correctly and the glass is clear. Illumination battery needs replacing. An excellent purchase for anyone looking to start long range shooting or compete.
