This rifle has a serial number in the 1892 series. Features full round barrel, sporting sights, blued finish, button magazine, walnut stock and steel shotgun buttplate. CONDITION: Like most 1920's models, something in the heat treating at Winchester makes them prone to flaking. Barrel retains 95% original blue with razor sharp legends. Right side of the frame retains 75% original blue that is spotted with flaking. Left side of frame has 90% flaked to soft chocolate brown. There is some minor roughness at bottom left frame that is darker brown. Forend cap is brown patina. Straight screws. Walnut stock is proud to metal in excellent condition and just a few minor bumps. Well defined rifling.
