.54 CAL. OL: 48 - 1/2". BL: 33". S: Walnut. The 1841 "US" marked "Mississippi Rifle" has a percussion lock marked "Robbins and Lawrence, US" and "Windsor, Vermont 1850". The walnut stock has been cleaned and varnished and the edges are heavily rounded. The barrel is marked "J.H., U.S., P." and the surface is lightly pitted with all metal surfaces being polished. Stock inspector mark is very faint. Brass-tipped ramrod is present.
