The Edgar Side Company manufactured engines similar to one of Weedens models. Weeden bought out the Edgar Side Company. The purchase included engine parts that were not as yet assembled. Weeden used those parts to create this specific model toy. The engine includes a standard Weeden No 32 boiler with water glass, whistle and steam dome filler. The engine itself is Edgar Side with a realistic valve wheel. This toy is very rare by its self but is almost unique with its original wood box.
