Built scale model ships for naval architects and exhibition purposes. In the 1920s, Boucher Inc. was formed to buy the Voltamp Company. At that time, the Company developed a line of steam powered boats that could be purchased complete or in kit form. The completed boat sold for $70 to $85, a goodly sum for the 1920s. It has a very interesting center flue boiler fired by a blow torch burner. The boiler was reported by Boucher to generate 80lbs. of pressure from cold water in three minutes. Overall a fine example of a well made model boat from the 1920s.
