“The Whizzer Steam Engine” was made by the American Toy Airship Company of Mansfield, Ohio. This is the alcohol fired version. The toy was made by adding a small spout or nozzle to the cover cap of brake fluid cans. Steam that escaped blew against a “turbine” flywheel. These toys were very flimsy and often rusted out if water was left in the boiler. This is why these engines are usually only found in their original boxes with little or no use.
Condition: (Very Good).
