This wood, paper and metal toy was made to be run by a Weeden steam engine. The cardboard action figures are finished in bright and authentic colors. The toy was operated by connecting a cord to the steam engine and a pulley located at the rear of the toy. One blacksmith hammers away while his assistant operates the bellows. This is not only an interesting steam accessory, but is also an interested piece of Americana. Made circa 1885 to the late 1890s. It originally sold for 50 cents. A great addition to either a steam toy collection or a general Americana collection. While hard to find in any condition, this accessory is in its original box. Probably the best one in existence.

Condition: (Excellent).

Item Dimensions: 8" x 10".
