It was a model of the vertical boiler road rollers of the day. The drive is geared. The roller also includes a single cylinder engine and a whistle. Note the unique “ships wheels” used to steer the roller. This roller is very rare in any condition. The roller and roller frame are reproductions and have been left unpainted so as to indicate that the parts are reproduced and not original.
