Steam engine with chimney mounted feed water pre-heater. This fine engine includes a waterglass, pressure gauge, whistle, weighted safety, and a dynamo for generation of electrical power. The poppet valve was operated by eccentrics on the shaft turned by a gear. The engine was first introduced ca. 1912. Later production into the late 1920s was re-numbered 10/110. The unique feature is the pre-heating reservoir on the chimney for pre-heating the feed water. The base is made to resemble a tile floor and the chimney and boiler stand represented brickwork. Except for some minor pain loss, this engine is in excellent condition.
Item Dimensions: 19" x 15 - 3/4".
