This toy was advertised as “a miniature of the engine that drives our mills and factories” The red boiler mounting is of simulated brick. As to condition, while the toy is all original, someone has soldered the safety valve to the boiler and with some additional poor quality soldering. This could be removed and the engine brought back to very good condition. Except for the soldering and some paint loss to the engine base, this engine is all original.
