Includes original box. This interesting Weeden vertical engine has the rare over-shaft design with column supports. The cylinder is mounted on one of the columns and is a single nickel-plated engine with a brass slide valve. Rossignol and Doll made similar toys. Who was first, and who copied who, may never be known. Introduced circa 1908 and produced through circa 1918.
