Montgomery Ward was the exclusive sales agent for this model. With the original Montgomery Ward decal. MW designed and named this engine. It was designed to attach to Steel-Tech, Erector and Meccano Construction Sets. It was introduced ca. 1927 and continued in production until ca 1931. The engine sold for $1.50. The smokestack and the burner are missing. There is some heat damage to the paint on the firebox.
