Circa 1930s. Model is made of tin, wood, copper, and brass while the wheels are made of cast iron. Extremely detailed and beautiful train model depicting one of America's earliest trains, which would have operated in the 1840s. Cars have opening doors and interior detail. Minor flaking here and there but this model is quite beautiful, very colorful, and a great piece of folk art.
