American. Made by the Hubbell Company. Clockwork motor inside of locomotive. Tender reads "Union Pacific Railroad" with fancy scrolls surrounding the lettering. This piece was made to commemorate the joining of the Transcontinental Railroad. This piece sat in the Union Pacific Railroad offices for over 50 years and was at the driving of the Golden Spike in 1865. This is a one-of-a-kind piece of Americana and a great piece of American History. Provenance: Collection of Ward Kimball.
