24'' x 37''. 1887. Framed. Rome, Temple Du Soleil. Gouache on paper. Dempwolf was an architect whose buildings can be seen in York, Pennsylvania, among other places. Dempolf studied at the Beaux Arts in Paris. At first glance this piece has the look of a print, but it is, in fact, painted entirely by hand and was his final project at the Beaux Arts in Paris.
