This crudely made steam roller was made by an individual in Edmonton in North London circa 1945 to 1950. This roller was advertised by Selfridges in “The Meccano Magazine” in 1946. “Steam Driven, special gearing for both travel and steering: clutch for neutral position, copper boiler (silver soldered). Special type feeder for fuel burner, special lubricator for cylinder. Entirely hand made throughout".
Condition: (Very Good - Excellent).
