1840 to 1860. OL: 58". BL: 43". TB: Octagonal. LM: Percussion. S: Plain maple. This obvious stock is a late one but the octagonal barrel is signed “J. P. Beck” who obviously had nothing to do with this gun. In “real estate” parlance, this could be considered as a “fixer-upper.”
