Circa 1840 to 1850. OL: 59". BL: 44". TB: Octagonal. LM: Percussion. PB: 2-piece. S: Curly maple. This Kentucky rifle has an iron two-piece patchbox similar to some of the U.S. rifles previous to the Civil War. The stock has excellent curly maple and has been re-finished.
