OL: 56". BL: 42". This percussion German musket is marked "SAARN" on the lock (for Saar, Prussia) and "809" on the barrel. The walnut stock has an old varnish finish and all surfaces are smooth and bright. There are brass mountings, a leather sling, and original bayonet. This type may have been imported during the Civil War.
