American. Ca. 1911. Girl with molded and carved hair with pink bow, completely refinished head with blue intaglio eyes and smiling mouth with teeth. Fully metal jointed body has Schoenhut impressed mark with original paint, some wear on fingers and joints, vintage cotton undies, shoes and socks, replaced dress. Boy with character face, original paint, but scuffing and chips on nose, chin forehead, and upper lip, brown intaglio eyes, pouty expression, vintage mohair wig. Fully metal-jointed body with Schoenhut impressed mark, overall paint wear and flaking. Nicely redressed in dark cotton print suit in appropriate style.
