Circa 1840 to 1850. OL: 52 - 1/2". BL: 37 - 1/2". TB: Octagonal. LM: Percussion. PB: 4-piece. S: Curly Maple. Incise carving. Three silver inlays. Although this Kentucky is a later example of H. Gibbs with a back-action Golcher lock, classic late Lancaster patchbox, and basket-weave wrist carving, it has very good condition and is in its original finish.
