This model 1816 musket is marked "M.T. Wickham, US, Phila. 1828" on its arsenal conversion (bolster type) to percussion. The barrel has lost its markings except for the stamped "N. J" (for New Jersey) on its side. The walnut stock has a good inspector's cartouche and shows usage but is fully intact with a dark varnish/ oil finish. All metal parts are polished bright.
