Two Victorian men dueling with swords. Titled “Twixt Love and Honor”. The artist’s name on the painting appears to be W.E. Worrell, Columbia PA. The painting was purchased around 1960 from the Rising Sun Hotel in Columbia, PA. The hotel was built in the 1700s. The painting may also date to the 1700s because of the way the veins in the horse were pronounced. Some moderate crazing but no paint loss.
Condition: (Excellent).
Item Dimensions: 80" x 120".
