MARLIN MODEL 97 OBFM RIFLE MARLIN 97 345579 22 S.L.LR. MODERN; C&R Cal. .22 S.L.LR. 24" bbl, blue finish. Walnut stocks. CONDITION: Good, bbl and tube shows 80% blue with a lot of dry oil stains. Receiver shows 80% of a gray/blue finish that has dulled with age. Stocks are custom made and not original to the rifle, LOP on the buttstock is 15-1/2" there is a cheek piece on the left side of the stock, steel buttplate with trapdoor compartment. The forestock has a unique bbl band and a very fat profile, forestock is 12-1/2" l. Upper tang is missing rear sight filler screws.
