STEVENS NO. 49 WALNUT HILL SINGLE SHOT TARGET RIFLE.STEVENSMODEL 49 WALNUT HILL268522 LRMODERN; C&RCal. 22 LR 28" heavy round bbl, blue and case color finish, plain pistol grip stock with heavy forend. CONDITION: Fine. Bbl retains 85% blue mixing with plum patina, some slight scratches. Bbl is marked "Stevens Walnut Hill". Bore is bright with strong rifling. Receiver retains 90% case color finish. Lever retains 10% case color finish. Hammer is bright with some oil staining. Bbl mounts a Lyman 438-Field telescope with clear optics. Lyman adjustable tang sight and front globe sight with insert. Stocks are very good with handling marks commensurate with age. Forend is very wide and has a blued bbl band with sling swivel attached. Sling swivel on butt. Steel buttplate.
