COLT NEW POLICE MODEL "COP AND THUG" REVOLVER COLT NEW POLICE COP AND THUG 21290 38 C&R Cal: 38 2-1/4" etched panel bbl, nickel finish. "Cop and Thug" hard rubber grips. PROVENANCE: The Estate Collection of Phil A. Bleakney, Jr. CONDITION: Very fine, revolver retains 95% nickel finish overall with some light flaking on the cylinder and butt. Bbl shows a fine etched panel reading "Colt House 38". Bore is bright with sharp rifling. Screws retain most of their fire blue finish. Trigger retains 50% blue finish. Hammer retains 95% blue finish. Grips are fine, with no serious mars or chips. Front sight is full sized. This is a very fine example of a very rare Colt revolver that was made in a quantity of not more then 4000. 49059-96 TEP (3,000-5,000)
