VERY EARLY CASED COLT MODEL 1862 POCKET NAVY REVOLVER. COLT 1862 90 36 C&R Cal. .36. First few days production revolver with 6-1/2" bbl, blue finish. Varnished 1-pc walnut grips. Accompanied by a relined Colt case which contains an early double sided eagle Colt flask, brass Colt bullet mold without sprue cutter and cap tin. CONDITION: Good, smooth even gray patina overall, no silver on the straps, cylinder shows strong traces of scene. Grips are good. Case is good. This is a very early two digit number Colt Pocket Navy revolver, one of the first produced, all visible SN''s match. 49433-52 TEP (3,500-5,000)
