RARE HOPKINS & ALLEN DICTATOR PERCUSSION REVOLVER. HOPKINS & ALLEN DICTATOR 1353 NO CAL This is a well presenting example of a scarce percussion pistol made circa 1870 by Hopkins & Allen, Norwich, Connecticut. Gun conforms to other percussion models with 4" rnd bbl marked on top "DICTATOR". PROVENANCE: The Estate Collection of Phil A. Bleakney, Jr. CONDITION: Excellent as refinished retaining over 95% blue, panel scenes are weak due to polish prior to re-bluing. Gun appears orig and matching, stocks well fit with chip to left toe and restored right toe. Mechanically gun functions with crisp well defined bright bore. 49059-133 JS (1,000-2,000)
