FINE CIVIL WAR MARTIALLY MARKED ROGERS & SPENCER PERCUSSION ARMY REVOLVER. ROGERS & SPENCER PERCUSSION ARMY 1934 44 Cal. 44. Blue finish with 7-1/2" oct bbl, nickel silver cone front sight with rear sight and groove in the top strap. Top strap has usual “ROGERS & SPENCER / UTICA N.Y” address. PROVENANCE: The Estate Collection of Phil A. Bleakney, Jr. CONDITION: Very fine overall. Bbl retains about 60% glossy orig blue with remained plum/grey. Hammer rammer assembly have some muted case color with balance grey. Cylinder retains about 90% glossy orig blue with light pitting around the rear edge nipple recesses. Grips are sound and solid, well fit, show light to moderate edge wear with several small nicks below cartouche below left stock. Mechanics are fine, crisp fine bore with areas of rust and pitting. 49059-155 JS (2,000-3,000)
