VERY FINE CASED ENGLISH PEPPERBOX PISTOL. ENGLISH PEPPERBOX NSN NO CAL This is a very fine conditioned pepperbox complete with accoutrements in matching fine condition. 6-bbl cluster. Bbl measure about 3" and gun overall is about 8". Hammer and bbls are cased color hardened with German silver frame and varnished checkered 2-pc grips. Gun exhibits light scroll engraving with cast and chased full relief lions head as buttcap. PROVENANCE: The Estate Collection of Phil A. Bleakney, Jr. CONDITION: Excellent overall. Bbls and hammer retain 90%+ bright case colors with balance silver/grey. Trigger guard retains about 70% of it's orig fire-blued finish. 49059-246 JS (3,000-4,000)
