UNMARKED CONTINENTAL DOUBLE BARREL FLINTLOCK GAME GUN.UNKNOWNSXSNSN20 GACal. 20 ga. 34-1/2" Twist bbls with sunken rib have unlined vents. Locks with semi waterproof pans and roller frizzens have tall serpentine cocks. Stock of plain European walnut has square fluted right hand cheekpiece and deep checkering at grip and forend. Furniture is of relief cast brass with acorn type finials, and nicely engraved foliate decoration. What appears to be orig ramrod, has worm at end and horn tip. Weight: 7 lbs 7 oz. LOP: 14". CONDITION: Good. Bbls are somewhat pitted. Locks strong. Stock retains most of what appears to be an old oil refinish with a number of knocks and dents, but is sound. 49598-1 MGM375 (3,000-4,000)
