SN: 2F24163. WWII U.S. Navy deck clock in dbl mahogany casing with hinged lids. The inner case is dbl lidded so that when the top lid is lifted, it exposes a glass cover for viewing the clock without further opening the case. Clock, in its precision machined brass case, is suspended in brass gimbals with about 1/2" thick brass back to keep it always facing upward. Case is numbered "11643" and has matching numbered back. Watch has 21 jewels with "Up & Down" indicators. SIZE: CONDITION: Outer case is soiled with finish losses but is sound. Inner case is lightly soiled with corroded latches & hinges.
